Privacy & Cookie Policy

This statement explains how we may collect and use information about you through our site. If you have any questions about our privacy policies, want to exercise your right to see a copy of the information that we hold about you, or think that information we hold about you may need to be corrected, please email to our data privacy officer @ ben.fearns@redfern-energy.co.uk

We monitor visits to our website, primarily so that we can make sure that it is easy to navigate, identify the areas that are of particular interest to visitors and generally improve the site and our services.

The information that we collect in this process will not identify you as an individual, however – we do not seek to identify individual visitors unless they volunteer their contact details through one of the forms on the site. In some circumstances our records will identify organisations visiting our site and we may use that information in managing our relationship with those organisations. In common with most websites, our site uses cookies – small data files which are downloaded to your computer so that we can recognise that your computer has visited the site before.

Areas of our site invite you to submit your contact details and other information about yourself or your organisation, or to send us emails which will, of course, also identify you. In each case, the purpose for which you are invited to give us information is clear and we also indicate which of the requested information is essential for the relevant purpose and which is optional – fields for essential information are marked with an asterisk.

If Redfern Energy Ltd proposes to use your details to send you information about events or developments which we believe may be of interest to you (other than information that you have specifically requested), we give you an opportunity to tell us that you wish to receive such information by ticking a box. In addition, you may at any time let us know your preferences by sending an email to @ ben.fearns@redfern-energy.co.uk or by post @ Bedford House, 60 Chorley Old Rd, BL1 4DA. We will not use your information for purposes that are not clear when you provide your details, and will not disclose it outside Redfern Energy Ltd, except with your agreement or where we are legally obliged to do so.

You have the right to see the information we hold about you and to have errors corrected. To exercise your rights, please contact us @ ben.fearns@redfern-energy.co.uk.

You will be able to unsubscribe from receiving information from us at any time by following the ‘unsubscribe’ link in any e-mail we send to you. Alternatively, you may send a request to the same effect to our data privacy officer.

We make sure that all the information we hold on you is stored securely on our servers and we will always follow strict security procedures in storing, using and sharing the information you give us, in order to prevent unauthorised access to it. We will not sell, rent, trade or otherwise disclose the personal information you provide to any third party.

If Redfern Energy Ltd becomes aware of a possible breach of data protection within Redfern Energy Ltd, it will be investigated as soon as possible. If Redfern Energy Ltd finds that a breach has occurred and could result in a risk to anyone’s privacy rights or freedoms, The Company will report it to the Information Commissioner’s Office within 72 hours of determining this.

If you use the website to apply to work with us, we will use the information you supply to process your application and to monitor recruitment statistics. We will ask you to sign up to additional privacy terms if you apply for a job with us.  Once a person has taken up employment with us, we will compile a file relating to their employment. At that stage we will provide details about how we hold employee data and we will expect the employee to sign up to additional privacy terms as part of their employment.
